Fill Up Those Easter Baskets!

Fill Up Those Easter Baskets!

This year, take time to find some unique items for those Easter gift baskets. Invited to an Easter brunch?  Bring an Easter-themed hostess gift basket the whole family will enjoy! Check out our favorite spots for filling up those Easter baskets, and getting the kids out to meet the Easter Bunny!

Fill up those Easter Baskets!

Chukar Cherries - Extraordinary Pacific Northwest foods and gifts crafted from locally grown cherries and berries, made fresh in Prosser.  Check out the Blossom Time assortment, fresh for spring, pick up a premade basket of goodies that’s ready to go, or get a custom order shipped to someone. And don’t forget to try a bakery item for your Easter brunch, such as the Raspberry Cherry Coffee Cake! Yum!

Little SoapMaker - She will love a basket full of pampering, and you can fill the kids Easter baskets with designs they will love, like dinosaur-shaped soap. The shop has a stunning array of beautifully scented, handmade soaps made of natural shea butter and goat’s milk. You can even customize with essential oils for your own liking.  And it's not just soap! They have beard products, like pipe tobacco beard oil for the guys too!

Meet the Easter Bunny!

Selah Sweets - What would an Easter basket be without chocolate? Even better is a solid black and white fudge Easter egg with a layer of caramel? Get a free snack and a Facebook photo taken with the Easter Bunny when you stop by Selah Sweets new location at 3250 Selah Loop Rd., on Saturday, April 15th from 1:00 PM to 5 PM. Make sure and grab some specialty Easter cupcakes to take home!

The Valley Mall - Visit the stores in the Valley Mall for new Easter outfits for the kids, then hop on over to the Bunny's Spring Garden in Center Court for photos  with the Easter Bunny beginning on Saturday, April 8th! 100% of photo sales benefit Northern Pacific Railway Museum. And on April 9th, the Valley Mall is turning down the noise for the Silent Bunny Event, creating a calm environment for children with autism or other special sensitivities to take photos with the Easter Bunny. Please RSVP by calling Valley Mall Guest Services at 509.469.9308.

Selah Discover Contest: Egg Hunt – From March 20 through April 14, kids 18 and under are invited to participate in an Easter-themed business scavenger hunt. Each day, Selah Downtown Association will post a hint on the FB page and kids and families must use the hint to locate one of the numbered eggs hidden in businesses throughout Selah. Kids who locate all the hidden eggs and return their worksheet to City Hall by Monday, April 17th will be entered into a drawing for an Easter basket sponsored by participating businesses.

Happy Easter everyone!
