New Choices for Dining!

New Choices for Dining!

Bringing the family to Yakima for a sporting tournament, event or just wanting to go out to lunch or dinner? Then try one of these family and budget friendly restaurants in Yakima.

Summer is the perfect time to enjoy good bar-be-cue. It can be hot standing over the grill so why not try Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. The meat is seasoned and slow smoked in hickory wood burning pits on-site daily. Take a look at the menu of pulled pork, beef brisket, pork ribs, bbq honey glazed Ham, cheddar sausage and more. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Choose from a dozen side dishes; baked beans and coleslaw to waffle fries, they have them all. I would go for the yummy 3 meat plate or the XL Family pack to keep everyone happy. The service is quick and the location is convenient at 2706 West Nob Hill Blvd. Yakima, WA 98902. Better yet, you can order online and pick it up.

Old Country Buffet offers a wide variety of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Talk about keeping everyone happy! No problem here. Enjoy an amazing menu of home-style favorites from Mac & Cheese to Chicken and much more. Come on Family Night, Thursday from 5-8pm, for fun activities at 2513 Main Street, Union Gap, WA 98903. Located next to the Valley Mall; just a walk across the parking lot from the restaurant for a little shopping after dinner. Just sayin’.

Look behind the scenes at Pasta pronto! and see how we prepare your delicious entrées.

This restaurant was voted one of the best new restaurants in Yakima; offering traditional upscale Italian-style dishes are all made from scratch. Choose your sauce, choose your pasta, and choose your meat. Have it your way; Alfredo, Bolognese, Pesto, white clam to spicy sausage. Looking to skip cooking tonight, check out the family sized portions of the Grab ‘n Go, Heat ‘n Eat Specials, 4 entrées for the price of 3! Located at 420 South 72nd Avenue, Suite 160, Yakima, WA 98908.

Copper Pot Caramels. Not a restaurant but there is always time for something sweet and Copper Pot Caramels does not disappoint. Buttery, delicious and made in small batches the Sea Salt Infused Caramels or Chocolate Covered Caramels are a great after dinner treat. Or, and this is the best…. when you make your traditional, 4th of July, homemade vanilla ice cream, top it with the Salted Caramel Sauce…unforgettable!

You can find Copper Pot Caramels at Johnson Orchards. While there, pick up some farm fresh cherries. Upick Bing and Rainier Cherries start Saturday June 13 and will last for 2 - 3 weeks. Rainier and Tieton Cherries available for purchase.
