What do Grape Stomps, Hot Air Balloons, Craft Beer, Pirates and Divas have in common? Fall is here! Time for this seasons harvest events. We know you’ve been waiting for the best grape stomping parties in the Yakima Valley. It all begins Labor Day Weekend with the Harvest Party at Silverlake Winery. This well known, “Party of the Year,” is an afternoon of live music, grape stomp competitions, limbo and Ice Cold Vinoritas.  In October you get another chance to feel those squishy grapes between your toes again with the Harvest Celebration at Maryhill Winery. Wine tasting, live music, Bocce, grape stomping, barrel tasting, free hot dog and marshmallow roast.  Then save the date for the Great Prosser Balloon Rally, September 25-26-27, 2015. Watch colorful hot air balloons take flight or the Nite Glow of balloons to music. Check out the craft beer at the Yakima Fresh Hop Ale Fest in downtown Yakima on October 3. The Pirate Plunder Adventure Race is all about strength, stamina and mud. There will be obstacles to climb over and through and mud. And.. For those Wine Divas, pull on those cowgirl boots and slap on the bling ‘cause Chance McKinney, is comin’ to town for the Wine Diva’s Pretty in Pink Event!!!

9.5.2015 Annual Harvest Party at Silver Lake Winery! Celebrating  the annual kick off to the Harvest season with this fun-filled, amazing event. Live music by Stimulus Package, Grape Stomping and Limbo Contests, tropical lunch, local vendors and delicious Ice Cold Vinoritas! Enjoy our Tropical retreat in the Vineyard! 10.03.15 Maryhill Winery Harvest Celebration Weekend! 10:00am to 6:00pm. Wine tasting, live music, Bocce, grape stomping and barrel tasting, and free hot dog and marshmallow roast. Create and purchase a commemorative grape, tie-dyed Harvest Celebration t-shirt. Terrace Music: Brian Granse 1:00p.m. to 5:00p.m.- From the PBS television series “Road Trip Nation.”  American Nobody, aka: Brian Granse is one of Portland’s premier loop artists.  Singing over the top of his own layered sounds he is the modern version of a one man band.  Using a  Gibson Echoplex he records parts live, hits the body of his guitar for drum sounds, runs an octave pedal for base sounds, even beat boxes with his mouth and overdubs backing vocals.. 9.25-27, 2015. The Great Prosser Balloon Rally. Hot Air Balloons take to the sky at sunrise from the Prosser Washington Airport . Balloon Pilots from all over the Northwestern United States converge on Prosser Washington.  Spectators are encouraged to arrive early (about 6:15 a.m.) at the Prosser Airport to watch the pilots prepare the giant balloons. Some lucky spectators are even asked to assist the balloon pilots inflate, chase, and recover the Hot-Air-Balloons. Parking and Admission are Free. Come for a weekend full of family activities. Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Launches, Night Glow,  Harvest Festival, Farmers Market, and last but not least Caren Mercer-Andreason Street Painting Festival. Prosser, WA

10.03.2015 Batten down the hatches, the Pirate Plunder is here again! 2015 marks the fourth year of the Pirate Plunder Adventure Race which is a 5k mile obstacle course race that combines ever changing terrain with 16 obstacles to test your strength, stamina, and love of mud. You’ll climb over walls up to 14’ high, crawl through a 100’ long mud pit, slide down a 30’ water slide, and face many other challenges all while running through a blend of fields, tires, and mud pits! Once done, participants are greeted with a cold beverage, live music, and great food! This race is a great way to get you, your friends, and family off the couch, away from the TV, and covered in mud. So come on out and see if you’re worthy of the name "Pirate" or are you just another "Scallywag" in line to "Walk the Plank"!

10.03.2015 13th Annual Fresh Hop Ale Festival. 5p.m.-10p.m. Voted one of the top ten beer festivals in the nation. Fresh Hop Ale Festival is the original fresh hop beer festival, and still the best. Over 40 breweries, and over 100 beers with rare treats on the beer bike cruising around the festival. Live music, food vendors, as well as wineries and cider. General admission $35. 10.23.2015  Wine Divas Pretty In Pink! 6:00pm - 9:00pm Hosted at the fabulous 4th Street Theatre in Downtown Yakima. You and some girlfriends will enjoy a fabulous social event for ladies featuring a special tribute to ALL Breast Cancer Survivors and Fighters!!
