5 Fall Harvest Events for the Whole Family!

5 Fall Harvest Events for the Whole Family!

The autumn harvest is a festive time in the Yakima Valley, when everyone gets to enjoy the fruits of our local farmer’s labor.  Come experience the fun and flavors of all the harvest events and activities, from hay rides to corn mazes, pumpkin patches to apple picking and so much more!. This is a wonderful time of year to create new family traditions and priceless memories at one of our family-owned Yakima Valley farms!

#1 - THOMPSON FARM AND MARKET

Have you ever seen a pumpkin fired from cannon? The giant pumpkin cannon at Thompson's Farm Pumpkin Patch fires every hour! Watch the pig races; take a hay ride through the orchard, past the pumpkin patch where the big pumpkins are. The kids will love “panning” for gems and playing with water pumps in the play area. There's fresh-made pumpkin donuts, beverages and popcorn available for purchase, and you can also run out in the orchard and pick your own apples! The farm offers free admission, free parking, no charge for the pig races and cannons and lots of free photo opportunities.
