Five Unique Places to Stay in the Yakima Valley

Looking for unique accommodations for your next vacation to the Yakima Valley?  Thinking of a ski getaway or fly fishing experience, wine tasting, the thrill of whitewater rafting or roughing it in the mountains?  Check out these five exceptional places to stay in the Yakima Valley:

STAY AT A SKI RESORT!

Stay at the White Pass Village Inn condos, where you can walk across the street to hit the slopes of the White Pass Ski Area! Or head out your back door for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing adventure.  There are loads of family fun activities when the weather is warmer too, such as hiking, fishing, boating or wildlife viewing. You can even hike a portion of the Pacific Crest Trail just down the road from the condos. Catch the Tieton River Flip Flop in the fall then come back to your condo to soak in the spa-temperature hot pool.  All units feature kitchenettes, private baths and balconies, and they range in size to sleep from one to eight guests.

STAY AT A NEW BOUTIQUE HOTEL!

Downtown Yakima’s newest attraction, The Historic Hotel Maison is just a few short blocks from wineries, restaurants, and entertainment at the Capitol Theater or the Seasons Performance Hall. This historic hotel sports original facades, architectural amenities and art reflecting the beauty of the local orchards, vineyards and hop fields that make up the Yakima Valley. A daily breakfast with delicious pastries, fruits, and assortments is included with your night’s stay.

Elk Ridge Campground lets you choose from one of their nine unique, rustic cabins or 20 RV sites. Go snowshoeing, cross-country skiing or snowmobiling at the nearby Sno-Park during the winter, then enjoy hiking, backpacking, fishing, biking, four-wheeling or hunting throughout the summer months. When you are done with your fun for the day, visit the on-site spa to take care of that “Campers Crick” in your neck with a 30-minute specialty service focused on detailed neck and upper-back work. Ahhhh…now that’s camping!
