Looking for a Quick Breakfast?

Looking for a Quick Breakfast?

Is it time for a quick espresso and maybe some Nutella crepes? How about some freshly baked grab-and-go pastry pockets? We’ve got you covered!  Here’s a list of some of the Valley’s freshly roasted coffee for your morning espresso, along with some quick and delicious breakfast options:

Essencia Bakery

Conveniently located in Downtown Yakima, this local favorite opens at 6:00 a.m., so you can get your morning espresso and baked goodies early! They also offer specialty sandwiches and salads for lunch, along with loaves of freshly baked bread to take home.  Don’t forget to take a moment to look at the local art on the walls!

Casa Vittore Coffee

A coffee shop on Yakima Avenue that specializes in the authentic flavors of Guadalajara. Try the sweet and savory crepes with your morning coffee, or one of their delicious Panini’s for lunch. They are also open until 1:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday if you need that jolt of caffeine to keep the party going!

Lincoln Avenue Coffee Co.

Often referred to as the “Best Espresso” in town, their locally roasted coffee beans make up their fresh coffee, lattes, iced drinks, breakfast cookies and specialty oatmeal. Take the quick drive-thru or go inside to the small sit-in area. A favorite with the kiddos, try the Creamsicle Italian Soda!

NorthTown Coffee House

Located in the Historic Front Street section of Downtown Yakima, NorthTown inhabits the Northern Pacific Ralroad Depot, a spacious renovated train station with a sunny room full of huge windows and brick floors, lots of tables and comfy seating, and historic train station pictures on the walls. Offering free Wi-Fi and serving Stumptown Coffee, homemade gelato, real soda in bottles, pastries, desserts, and grab-and-go food items, this is a perfect place to get together or have a date over coffee!

Nana Kate’s

If you’re passing through Selah, stop in and get your fill of sweet or savory puff pastry pockets or gluten free goodies to go with your morning espresso. Kate provides a wide range of gluten, paleo and dairy free options. Best of all, you can give her a call and your lunch will be delivered to you!

Tree Top Store and Visitor Center

The history of Tree Top Inc. is featured on the story boards and videos playing at this quaint little store! Along with your latte, pick up a souvenir and try their famous apple juice. You can also get your fresh baked goods, smoothies and lunch at the Tree Top Store. You can also spend some time learning how they turn our locally grown fresh fruit into all the different products and ingredients!

This is just a short list of all the unique espresso bars and breakfast spots in the Valley.  Every one of them offers up exquisite food and friendly experiences that are sure to get your morning in the Yakima Valley off to a great start!
