FUN FOR THE KIDS!

Looking for some educational fun? The kids will love the interactive center at Yakima Valley Museum Children’s Underground, which features a child-sized replica of historic Yakima City! They’ll get to wear authentic costumes while they experience history through constructive play! Not only fun but also a great learning experience for the kiddos!
Grab your wheels and head to one of the two skateboard parks in Yakima and let the kids go wild! Chesterley Park at 40th Avenue and River Road, and the Kiwanis Parks’ unique Tony Hawk designed skateboard park, at the corner of Fair Avenue and Maple Street, both offer plenty of space for the kids to get their shred on!
Want to make sure your kids take a nap later? Take your bikes on the 18-mile Yakima Greenway paved pathway! There are a number of children’s play structures along the route and lots of tables for a scenic picnic. This is a great place to get out with kids big or little and enjoy the sunshine!
Go old-school with roller or inline skating at Skateland Fun Center! The kids will love to play all the new neon glow-in-the dark arcade games! There are specials events almost every night, so check out their weekly schedule. Parents get out there and show your kids how it’s done!
Take the kids to the Get Air Indoor Trampoline Park and the whole family will have fun! They have foam pits, dodgeball, a kid’s zone, free-style trampolines, dunk hoops and tons more! The backyard trampoline doesn’t even compare to this!
